The high school years can be challenging for a family. My family had 4 children and 12 straight years of high school. It was a mix of hormones, athletics, academics, part-time work, dating, and college planning. I put it last on the list because it was the furthest out timeline. The problem is that much of the prep work for college needs to be done over time. Families rush the process and miss things because there is little time to fairly research the many opportunities available to students these days along with the prep work to be prepared for their career. My Letter to Parents details some of my family's challenges and what I learned as I journeyed through this process four times.
